Especially after having children. Ask any parent. Whether it’s the first couple of months, years or decades. Before you know it, your baby has turned into a toddler, your toddler into a school kid, your school kid into a teenager…. Capture those life stages ~ In 20 years' time, you won't regret the investment when showing them to your grandchildren!

Tips: I encourage families with young children to have a reward in mind prior - and let them know so they're motivated! I do carry a few small treats myself to hand out at the end of the session as encouragement and a reward for their co-operation. Wear appropriate footwear. Our landscape can be harsh on the feet! I encourage clothing to compliment members in your family. Neutral tones or block/plain colours work well. Avoid bold colours, patterns, logos or revealing clothing so the real focus remains on the family. Steer clear of caps as they hide the face, and sunglasses should be packed away.

• I keep my family sessions light-hearted and fun. If kids don't want to pose, they don't have to! Capturing kids being themselves (kids), family connections and emotion make the best photos.
• I offer various compositions to really document the whole family, individual portraits, group shots and everything in between.
• Sneak peeks will be delivered within 48 hours of session and a full selection gallery is usually delivered within 7 days.
• All final galleries have the option to purchase additional images or upgrade in full.
